Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Re-lo platform — the website at tryrelo.co, our mobile experience, and any associated services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Re-lo
Re-lo is a creative-finance real estate intelligence platform. We surface listings, neighborhood data, deal scoring, and educational content. We are not a licensed real estate brokerage, mortgage lender, attorney, or tax advisor. Re-lo refers users to licensed third-party professionals to handle transactions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use authenticated features. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you submit is truthful.
3. Listings and content
Property listings on the Service are sourced from a combination of: (a) user submissions by wholesalers, agents, and homeowners; (b) third-party data providers; and (c) manual admin entry. Re-lo does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing. You should independently verify all material facts (price, terms, condition, legal status) with the listing party and your own counsel before acting.
3.1 Creative-finance disclosures
Subject-to, seller-financed, assumable, and rent-to-own transactions carry unique legal and financial risks beyond a conventional purchase, including but not limited to due-on-sale clause exposure, lender consent requirements, and credit-event implications for both buyer and seller. Re-lo’s educational content is general in nature and does not constitute legal, tax, or financial advice. Consult licensed counsel before entering any creative-finance transaction.
4. User submissions
When you submit content to Re-lo (a listing, a photo, an inquiry, a chat message), you grant Re-lo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.
5. Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify Re-lo immediately of any unauthorized access at security@tryrelo.co.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or inquiries
- Scraping or copying Service content without express written permission
- Impersonating any person, entity, or affiliation
- Interfering with the Service’s security or operation
- Using the Service to violate any law or regulation, including but not limited to fair-housing, anti-discrimination, and consumer-protection law
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its visual design, source code, branding, copy, and curated data sets, is the property of Re-lo Inc. or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Re-lo expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Re-lo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, nor that any listing or estimate will produce specific results.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RE-LO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Re-lo’s aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the total fees you have paid Re-lo in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Re-lo, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.
12. Changes
Re-lo may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent in-Service notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
